Ryck has been using photographic equipment for more than fifteen years now, bringing quality pictures to life.

A little chronology

2010 :: The fourteen photos featured in "Lonely Ireland" are exhibited (2-15 May) in the Conference Hall of Limbiate's Central Public Library, as artistic complement to the literary appointments Pagine come rose ("Pages as roses"), organized by the Provincia di Monza e Brianza. Ryck's photography has been associated to the travel literature reading path.
A selection of Ryck's photographic shots dedicated to the 'emerald Isle' becomes "Lonely Ireland". This work begins being exhibited on 21th March at Villa Greppi, Monticello B. (Italy), during the World Poetry Day (supported by UNESCO) / 1st St. Patrick's Day in Brianza, a yearly event created to celebrate poetry and the affinities between Brianza and Ireland.

2009 :: Ryck becomes an official photographer for Path of St. Augustine (Cammino di Sant'Agostino), a new pilgrimage way created in the beautiful province of Brianza, in Northern Italy. A selection of his photographs showing the 25 sanctuaries met on the Path will be appearing in various locations, beginning with an exhibition at the Events Area of Autodromo Nazionale di Monza, during the first edition of BIGS, the new Fair about Sustainable Slow Tourism mobility, held from Friday 18th to Sunday 20th September 2009.
Ryck starts collaborating with PoesiaPresente, taking portraits of major young poets from the newborn Italian Province of Monza and Brianza going to appear inside the anthology book "Mappa Giovane".

2008 :: A picture taken at Inishmore in the Aran islands, Ireland, has been selected by Schmap for illustrating the online map of the town of Galway, Ireland.
Ryck becomes an official photographer for Ragnarock Nordic Festival. Between others, he portraits nordic artists of international importance like Teitur and Heroes and Zeros.
Ryck starts collaborating with FAG Edizioni, national level important publisher of many useful manuals for which he provides images ("Homemade Bread" and "Natural Soap").

2007 :: Another picture ("Painting Ireland green") taken in Galway, Ireland, has been selected by EDT / Lonely Planet to be featured as "February" in Lonely Planet Italy 2008's desktop calendar.
The picture "The beach at Lahinch, Co. Clare, Ireland" has been selected by Denis Curti and Francesco Zanot of Agenzia Contrasto for EDT / Lonely Planet 's first edition of biannual exhibition "Around the World in 50 photographs" at Arona - Italy, June 2007

2006 :: Ryck begins designing this website (nicknamed "Vallhalla, the digital halls of Ryck Valli"), meant to be a showcase of his work.
Ryck contributes to the birth of Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, testing the early beta of version 1.
Ryck begins contributing to the international stock photography agency Alamy to sell licenses of his imagery online.

1996-2006 :: Ryck travels around the World and collects many images that will become part of his portfolio. He also becomes more interested and involved in music projects.

1996 :: Ryck has been awarded the First Prize in the national "Nouvelles Frontières" short video contest, with his shooting of "Volcanoes, Deserts, Glaciers" during summer 1995 in Iceland.
